The Changeling is billed as a fairytale for grown-ups. The story follows its main character Apollo, portrayed by Stanfield in the upcoming adaptation. Searching high and low and rare first editions of books, Apollos discovers a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird inscribed by Harper Lee himself. However, Apollo and Emma’s life suddenly turns nightmarish due to circumstances beyond their control.
Lakeith Stanfield recently earned an Oscar nod for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah. Outside of that, the versatile performer continues to prove his range thanks to memorable roles in Knives Out, The Photograph, and Uncut Gems.
