Oscars 2022: The Complete Nominations List

It is that time of the year again: awards season. Typically, the first few months of the year are filled with a bevy of ceremonies and speeches from our favorite actors and actresses. This year the best and brightest in film and on television will be honored at the 94th Academy Awards.
This year’s big nominees include Full Circle favorites like tick, tick…Boom! and Encanto. However, The Power of the Dog leads the nominees with a whopping 12 nominations, including best picture, best director for Jane Campion. Dune follows with a total of 10 nominations, including a surprising nod for best picture.
The races for best actor and best actress appear to be as tight as ever. With heavy-hitters like Andrew Garfield and Will Smith in the best actor conversation, it’s anybody’s ball game. Additionally, while Lady Gaga appears to have been snubbed for House of Gucci, Kristen Stewart leads the pack in the battle for best actress thanks to her stellar work in Spencer. Notably, several of this year’s nominations appear on Full Circle Cinema’s list of best films of 2021!
