Dave Bautista & Milla Jovovich To Star In Paul W.S. Anderson’s ‘In The Lost Lands’
Fresh off the release of his latest film Monster Hunter, director Paul W.S. Anderson lines up his next endeavor. As first reported by Variety, Anderson will adapt and develop a live-action adaptation of a story by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin. Additionally, the filmmaker has enlisted Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich to lead the film’s cast.
The film, titled In the Lost Lands, is based on Martin’s story with the same name. Per the initial report, the picture follows a queen desperate to fulfill her desire for love. The queen decides to hire a powerful sorceress named Gray Alys, portrayed by Jovovich, to help her achieve her goals. Alongside her guide, a drifter named Boyce, portrayed by Bautista, the sorceress must use her powers and cunning tactics to battle both men and demons. The sprawling adventure explores elements of good vs. evil and tells the story of both love and loss.

Paul W.S. Anderson will direct the feature as well as serve as an executive producer. Additionally, Bautista and Jovovich will produce the film as well alongside Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil) and Jonathan Meisner (My Spy). CAA will handle the project’s financing with FilmNation Entertainment presenting it at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin.
In addition to his new starring role, Bautista will star alongside Jason Momoa in season two of Apple TV’s See. In 2020, appeared in Amazon’s My Spy and his next roles include Dune and Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. Moreover, he is going to be honored among a litany of professional wrestling legends when he is inducted into the next class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Moreover, Milla Jovovich last appeared on the big screen opposite T.I. in Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter. Additionally, the actresses’ recent credits include roles in Zoolander 2 and Hellboy. Notably, her daughter Ever Anderson is jumping into the acting business with a role in Disney’s Peter Pan & Wendy.
