Alexander Molony & Ever Anderson Board Disney’s ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ As Titular Characters

Disney’s litany of live-action remakes of classic animated films will continue this year with the release of Mulan. However, the studio shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. As first reported by Variety, Disney’s upcoming live-action film Peter Pan & Wendy has found its stars.
Alexander Molony will star as Peter Pan while Ever Anderson will play Wendy. Molony is a young British actor previously seen in Sky One’s The Reluctant Landlord. He also stars as the titular character in the animated series Claude. However, Anderson has a bit more big-screen experience. She last appeared alongside her mother Milla Jovovich in 2016’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Additionally, she will play a young Natasha Romanoff in Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Black Widow.

The last few months have been filled with rumors regarding Disney’s Peter Pan & Wendy. The studio has reportedly had their eyes on big box office draws Margot Robbie and Joaquin Pheonix for prominent roles in the film. However, no casting confirmation has come in regards to either.
Peter Pan & Wendy will begin principal photography in Canada this April. The film will be directed by David Lowery (Pete’s Dragon) and written along with Toby Halbrooks (A Ghost Story). Disney hopes to strike overwhelming box office success again following the stellar performance of 2019’s The Lion King and Aladdin. Recent rumors suggest the film will stream exclusively on Disney+.
