Tye Sheridan In Talks To Join Ben Affleck In George Clooney’s ‘The Tender Bar’ Adaptation

Late last year, it was revealed that two Batman actors were teaming up for a new film in the works at Amazon Studios. Ben Affleck is set to star in a new film directed by George Clooney titled The Tender Bar. Next, as first reported by Collider, Ready Player One star Tye Sheridan is in talks to join Affleck as part of the film’s cast.
Additionally, Clooney will produce the picture alongside Grant Heslov (Argo) with a script penned by William Monahan (The Departed). With Affleck and Sheridan attached in co-starring roles, it remains unclear if Clooney will cast himself in a role as well. However, history shows that the Midnight Sky star and director typically appears in every film for which he also inhabits the director’s chair.

Per the initial report, Sheridan is in talks to portray Moehringer while Affleck will portray his uncle named Charlie.
Tye Sheridan continues to build his acting résumé following star-making roles in X-Men: Apocalypse and Ready Player One. Additionally, the actor touts a starring role in Netflix’s The Night Clerk alongside Ana de Armas and Helen Hunt.
