Ana De Armas Joins Chris Evans & Ryan Gosling In Netflix’s ‘The Gray Man’

Following exciting additions to its slate of original films like Project Power and The Prom, Netflix continues to churn out big-budget motion pictures with top-tier actors at the forefront. Up next, the streaming service will release films like Red Notice with Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot and Don’t Look Up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawerence. Additionally, the streaming service will produce The Gray Man from Joe and Anthony Russo. As first reported by Deadline, Knives Out star Ana De Armas will star in the upcoming action thriller.
The highly anticipated feature will also star megastar Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. Previously, Evans appeared alongside Ana De Armas in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, and while Gosling teamed with the actress for Blade Runner 2049.

Based on the 2009 novel with the same name by Mark Greaney, The Gray Man follows a freelance assassin and former CIA operative named Court Gentry. Gentry (Gosling) AKA the Gray Man, is being hunted by a former CIA cohort named Lloyd Hansen (Evans). The Russo Brothers recently hyped the film by comparing it to their Marvel film Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The aforementioned filmmaker duo penned the screenplay for the feature with a draft edited by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely as well. The Russo will direct the film as well as produce via their AGBO banner. Mike Larocca (21 Bridges), Joe Roth (Maleficent), and Jeff Kirschenbaum (Dolittle) will produce as well.
Ana De Armas continues her hyperspeed takeover of the big screen. With upcoming roles alongside Daniel Craig in No Time To Die and Ben Affleck in Deep Water, the actress will also star in a fictionalized take on the life of Marilyn Monroe in Blonde.
