David O. Russell is one of the most revered filmmakers of all time. His movies like American Hustle, Joy, and Silver Linings Playbook have earned him critical and commercial acclaim. Along the way, the director has earned a few Academy and Golden Globes Awards. That being said, the next project for Russell remains a mystery. However, the filmmaker is assembling quite the cast for the new venture. As first reported by Deadline, Rami Malek and Zoe Saldana are the latest stars to join the still-untitled film’s ensemble cast.
The two powerhouse performers join the previously cast Margot Robbie and Christian Bale. Additionally, Tenet star John David Washington joined the cast back in October, replacing Michael B. Jordan. Per the initial reports surrounding the film, its plot is based on an original idea from David O. Russell but details are being kept under wraps at this time.
