Mark Ruffalo Joins Ryan Reynolds In Netflix’s ‘The Adam Project’

Two of the biggest Marvel actors are joining forces for a new sci-fi feature in the works at Netflix. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Ruffalo will appear alongside Ryan Reynolds in the streamer’s upcoming film The Adam Project.
Additionally, Get Out star Catherine Keener, Code 8‘s Alex Mallari Jr, and newcomer Walker Scobell are joining the cast as well. The film’s call sheet already includes the aforementioned Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, and Jennifer Garner.
The Adam Project follows a man (Reynolds) tasked with traveling backward in time. The mission leads him to seek help from the 13-year-old version of himself. Joining forces, the two versions of Reynolds’ character seek out their father (Ruffalo), a brilliant physicist. Saldana will co-star in the film as an accomplished fighter pilot as well as the wife of Reynolds’ character with Keener playing the film’s antagonist. Moreover, Garner is on-board to appear in the film as the 13-year-old boy’s mother.
