Jamie Foxx To Star In Netflix’s Vampire Comedy ‘Day Shift’

Following a memorable starring role in Netflix’s Project Power, the versatile performer will build upon that relationship with the streamer in a bevy of projects. As first reported by Variety, Foxx is set to star in the upcoming vampire comedy titled Day Shift.
The news follows reports that Jamie Foxx will partner with Netflix for a new comedy series titled Dad Stop Embarrassing Me and the John Boyega-led thriller They Cloned Tyrone. The new comedy will reportedly follow Foxx’s character, a mild-mannered, blue-collar father. Hoping to provide a good life for his 8-year-old daughter, he works as a San Fernando Valley pool cleaner.
