‘The Gentlemen’ TV Series From Guy Ritchie In Development

Before the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic began causing movie theaters to close, audiences got the chance to enjoy the action-comedy The Gentlemen. Full Circle’s Ernesto Valenzuela goes into what makes the film work in his review. “The story moves at a very fast pace. Sometimes, too fast to acknowledge these themes. Nevertheless, the quick-witted humor and hilarious storytelling managed to win over myself and the audience I was with.” Thanks to that critical acclaim success, a new TV series based on the film is now in the works at Miramax TV, Deadline reports.
Moreover, the film’s director, Guy Ritchie, boards the upcoming project as writer and director. Best known for his work on films like Disney’s Aladdin and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Ritchie’s unique brand of humor and action continues to be a winning recipe for a plethora of film studios. Per the initial report, Ritchie will serve as an executive producer for the series as well. The director will be accompanied by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, who worked with him on the original feature as well.
