‘The Boys’ Spinoff Series In Development At Amazon Studios

Upon its release, it’s clear season two of The Boys is one of the most popular for a superhero series ever. In fact, Full Circle’s own Marcos Melendez says “it’s safe to say The Boys still stands as some of the finest superhero content television has to offer” in his official review of the show. Next, as first reported by Variety, Amazon looks to capitalize on the show’s success by developing and fast-tracking a new spinoff series set in the same universe.
Per the initial report, the spinoff will be set in America’s only college for young superheroes operated by Vought International. The series will explore the lives of hormonal and competitive superheroes as they test their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries. Moreover, the series’ description calls the series “part college show, part Hunger Games.”

Additionally, The Boys is already renewed for a third season at Amazon Studios and will reportedly include Supernatural star Jensen Ackles in the role of Soldier Boy.
