Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, & Oscar Isaac Join The Cast Of ‘Armageddon Time’

Director James Gray’s latest film Ad Astra grossed over $132.8 million at the worldwide box office. The film received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. However, despite these reactions, the film touts an incredible ensemble as of A-List actors Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, and Ruth Negga. As first reported by Deadline, the director looks to continue that trend by enlisting an equally impressive group of actors for his upcoming film Armageddon Time.
Per the initial report, Robert De Niro, Anna Hathaway, and Oscar Isaac will star in the period drama. Additionally, Cate Blanchett was previously attached to star in the film with Donald Sutherland joining as well.
The film was reportedly created by James Gray and is based on his childhood memories. It will present itself as a big-hearted, coming-of-age story that will explore friendship, growing up, and commitment during the looming election of Ronald Reagan as the President of the United States. Gray hopes to film on-location in New York following restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic getting lifted.
