William Jackson Harper Will Reportedly Appear In ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

Following some memorable roles alongside Aya Cash and Cristin Milioti since his breakthrough role on The Good Place, William Jackson Harper is next joining the highest-grossing film franchise of all time. According to a new report from insider Daniel Richtman, Harper is joining the MCU with a role in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Per Richtman’s scoop, which has since been picked up by fellow entertainment sites like The DisInsider, Harper will portray the leader of the rebels group inside the Quantum Realm that fight against Kang. Unfortunately, this means disappointing a host of fans on social media that were hoping to see the actor cast as Reed Richards AKA Mister Fantastic in the MCU.

William Jackson Harper joins stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, and Randall Park in the cast. In the film, Lang, van Dyne, her parents, and Lang’s daughter are accidentally transported into the Quantum Realm. However, they soon meet the mysterious Kang the Conqueror. The film is directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay by Jeff Loveness.
William Jackson Harper is perhaps most well-known for his starring role opposite Kristen Bell in NBC’s The Good Place. Since then, the actor appeared in Peacock’s The Resort, season two of HBO Max’s Love Life, and the rom-com We Broke Up, alongside Aya Cash. Up next, the actor will narrate the Marvel audiobook series Black Panther: Sins of the King. Additionally, Harper will star in Regina King’s upcoming Netflix series A Man in Full.
