The script is reportedly still being written, so it will be some time before it goes into production. Lindelof is co-writing the film, but it is not yet known who his co-writer will be. According to Deadline’s sources, Lucasfilm and Lindelof wanted a director on board early so that their vision for the film could be included in the script.
