In fact, his list of upcoming films only continues to grow. As first reported by Deadline, Majors is in talks to portray legendary NBA star Dennis Rodman in a new film titled 48 Hours in Vegas.
As the title suggests, the film will follow Rodman during his infamous 2-day bender in Las Vegas in 1998. During the 1998 NBA finals, Rodman went MIA in with an assistant GM that left the fate of the Chicago Bulls’ championship dreams in a bit of a conundrum.

Additionally, Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group will produce and distribute the film domestically and internationally. In a statement, Lionsgate president Nathan Kahane talks about the film’s unique premise.
“There’s only one Dennis Rodman. In 1998, there was nobody on Earth who’d be more fun – or maybe more dangerous – to party with. And yet that’s not even half of who he is,” Kahane says. “This movie takes you on an unforgettable ride with the myth, the legend, and also the man that Dennis is, behind everything you think you know. We could not be more thrilled to be working with Phil, Chris, Aditya, Ari, Will, Jordan, and above all, Dennis, whose amazing career and life will make for an off-the-wall hilarious yet completely human and emotional movie. You think you know anything about ’The Worm’? Just wait!”
