Miles Teller To Star In & Produce Scott Derrickson’s ‘The Gorge’

Miles Teller appears to be the talk of the town thanks to a memorable role in the now 6th highest-grossing film of all time, Top Gun: Maverick. Up next, the actor has chosen a surprising but rather exciting project to focus his attention on. As first reported by Deadline, Teller will star in a new film by Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson.
Per the initial report, Teller will also executive produce the film, titled The Gorge. The Tomorrow War scribe Zach Dean penned the screenplay. Scott Derrickson will direct the feature with his long-term collaborator C. Robert Cargill producing. Skaydance media will finance and distribute the feature.

At this time, details surrounding the film. However, sources close to the story describe it as a is “a high-action, genre-bending love story.”
Miles Teller is a BAFTA Award nominee thanks to his stellar work in Whiplash. Additionally, the actor touts roles in the Divergent film series and the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot. Most recently, Teller appeared alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick and Escape from Spiderhead opposite Chris Hemsworth. Additionally, the multi-talented actor turned in an impressive performance alongside Ted Lasso star Juno Temple in the Paramount+ series The Offer, which chronicles the development and production of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather.
