Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joins The Cast Of ‘The Boys’ For Season 4

It’s hard to open Twitter these days without seeing a clip or gif of the latest season of Amazon’s The Boys. With a highly anticipated season 4 on the way, the official social media accounts for the series have confirmed that The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is joining the cast.

Morgan joins the star-studded cast from the show’s third season Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Jensen Ackles. Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is absolutely no stranger to live-action comic book adaptations. The actor is perhaps best known for his roles within the genre thanks to turns in Watchmen, The Walking Dead, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Up next, Morgan will reprise his famous role as Negan in a Walking Dead spinoff series Isle of the Dead.
