Anthony Mackie, David Harbour & Tig Notaro To Star In Netflix’s ‘We Have A Ghost’

Netflix’s upcoming slate of movies seemingly grows with each passing day. With big releases like Vivo and Red Notice on the way, the streamer has assembled an all-star for its newest feature. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Anthony Mackie, David Harbour, and Tig Notaro will star in a new family adventure titled We Have A Ghost.
Legally Blonde star Jennifer Coolidge and Charm City Kings actor Jahi Di’Allo Winston will appear in the movie as well. Freaky director Christopher Landon will helm the picture based on a script he wrote himself based on Geoff Manaugh’s short story Ernest. Landon and Manaugh will also serve as executive producers alongside Korey Budd (The Lovebirds) and Nathan Miller (Little Potato).

According to Netflix, the movie follows its main character Kevin and his family. Upon discovering a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home, the family turns into overnight social media sensations. However, when Kevin and Ernest go rogue and unravel the mystery of the ghost’s past, they are targeted by the CIA.
Anthony Mackie is fresh off a stellar run as the new Captain America in Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Additionally, the actor will likely reprise the role in the fourth Captain America movie for Marvel Studios. David Harbour recently joined the Marvel family as Red Guardian in Black Widow. Up next, Harbour will reprise his role as Hopper in season four of Stranger Things. Meanwhile, comedian Tig Notaro is the standout of Zack Snyder‘s Army of the Dead. Up next, the multi-hyphenate will direct the Dakota Johnson-starring film Am I Ok?.
