‘Captain America 4’ Officially In The Works At Marvel Studios

The Star-Spangled Man is set to hit the big screen once again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Captain America 4 is in the works with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman.
Spellman, the head writer and show creator for the Disney+ and Marvel Studios series, is set to develop a fourth installment of the Captain America film franchise. He will co-write the script alongside Dalan Musson, a staff writer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Until now, Chris Evans has been the only actor to wield the shield and mantle of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson take up the role and become the new Cap. Based on where the series left off, this new film will showcase Sam’s journey as he has fully adopted his new role and moniker.
No other casting has been announced for the film, nor is a director attached to the project. Marvel Is staying quiet on the matter, so for now, fans will have to speculate what will be in store for the new Captain America.
