At this time, plot details for Emergency Contact are scarce. However, the initial report indicates that it will be a high-concept, high-octane action film set in the Austin, TX underground music scene. Moreover, Rory Haines (Black Adam) and Sohrab Noshirvani (The Mauritanian) will pen the film’s screenplay.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II continues to impress whenever given the opportunity. Following scene-stealing roles as Black Manta in Aquaman and Doctor Manhattan in HBO’s Watchmen, the actor will next lead the cast for Nia DaCosta’s Candyman. Additionally, The Trial of the Chicago 7 star will appear alongside Keanu Reeves in The Matrix 4 and Anya Taylor-Joy in Furiosa.
