The footage seems to depict a large action sequence. Civilians appear to be running from danger while the team of antiheroes walks towards it. This footage also serves as one of the first looks at Idris Elba in costume as Vigilante. His addition to the cast following confirmation of Will Smith’s absence has fans eager to see what he will bring to the DCEU.
Additionally, Melchior’s Ratcatcher stands next to Harley Quinn, who is still wearing the red dress she wore in previously leaked footage. Ratcatcher’s role in the film remains a mystery. However, this first look reveals she is not afraid of a fight and is dressed for combat. The plot of Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has remained mostly under wraps with much of the film still a mystery. A number of the stars’ roles still remain undisclosed.
This week is becoming a rather exciting one for DC movie fans. Following the reveal of Robert Pattinson’s Batman from director Matt Reeves, fans are looking forward to what the future of the DCEU will hold.
