Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson To Star In Comedy Series For Apple TV+

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are far from strangers to one another after a few collaborations over the years mixed with a real-life friendship. Now, as first reported by Deadline, the dynamic duo have signed on to star in a new comedy series in the works at Apple TV+.
Per the initial report, the currently untitled series hails from the upcoming Apple series The Big Door Prize creator and showrunner David West Read. In addition to their starring roles, Harrelson and McConaughey will serve as executive producers as well.

Per the initial report, the show will follow Harrelson and McConaughey as fictionalized versions of themselves and as best friends with a strange and beautiful bond. Described as an odd couple love story, the story will test their friendship when both of their families decide to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas.
Matthew McConaughey is an Oscar-award-winning actor thanks to his universally praised role in 2013’s Dallas Buyers Club. Most recently, the actor can be seen in films like The Gentlemen and heard in animated features like Sing 2. Up next, McConaughey will voice Elvis Presley in Netflix’s animated series Agent Elvis. Meanwhile, Woody Harrelson recently hosted Saturday Night Live to promote his upcoming sports flick Champions. Up next, Harrelson will star in a number of projects like Greg Berlanti’s star-studded Project Artemis.
