Gal Gadot Will Reportedly Reprise Her ‘Fast and Furious’ Role For ‘Fast X’

The tenth installment of the wildly successful Fast and Furious franchise is quickly shaping up to be the most ambitious endeavor for the series so far. With a slew of new and familiar names getting behind the wheel for the film, a new report suggests a surprising name has been added to the list. According to The Direct, Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Gisele Yashar in the upcoming film.
Gadot joins an utterly stacked cast already including Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, Cardi B, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, and Charlize Theron.

Justin Lin is on board to direct and executive produce the film as well as the following eleventh, and final, Fast movie. Lin also penned the screenplay alongside Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans). Gadot’s return for the sequel is surprising given her character dies at the end of Fast 5. However, characters have been known to come back from the dead in Fast & Furious movies such as Sung Kang’s return as Han in F9.
The surprising news comes off the heels of Gal Gadot’s third Wonder Woman film at DC Studios. The actress most recently starred alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s Red Notice as well as a memorable role in Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile. Up next, Gadot will star alongside Rachel Zegler in Disney’s live-action Snow White.
