The upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular Twisted Metal video game series continues to pick up speed. As first reported by Deadline, Encanto star Stephanie Beatriz is joining the highly anticipated series in a major role.
Beatriz joins Anthony Mackie, who will portray John Doe in the series. Per the initial report, Beatriz will portray a new, original character Quiet, a badass car thief who acts solely on instinct and intuition. Cobra Kai writer Michael Jonathan Smith will pen the series and serve as executive producer alongside Will Arnett.
