Daniela Melchior & Henry Golding To Star In Action-Spy Movie ‘Assassin Club’

Following a couple of star-making roles in big blockbusters this summer, Henry Golding and Daniela Melchior will next team together for a new action flick. As first reported by Collider, the two stars will next appear alongside each other in a new film thriller titled Assassin Club.
Golding and Melchior will lead the cast that also includes Sam Neill and Noomi Rapace. Film Bridge International is handling financing and distribution of the film, which recently wrapped filming in Italy. Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions) will direct the feature written by Thomas Dunn (The Ungodly). Emanuele Moretti is producing for Motus Studios alongside Dennis Crow (The Two Thieves) and Simon Fawcett (Lone Survivor).

Per the initial report, the film is set in a community of international spies and top-notch assassins. The plot follows Morgan Gaines, portrayed by Golding, who is renowned as the best in the world. After taking a job to kill six people around the world, he discovers the targets are fellow spies and assassins all hired to take each other out. Rapace and Neill portray fellow assassins while Melchior plays Sophie, Morgan’s girlfriend, as they battle for survival.
Daniela Melchior received universal acclaim for her performance as Ratchatcher 2 in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Since then, fans have clamored to see more of her unique brand of charm on the big screen. Moreover, Melchior is currently awaiting results for her nomination for Best Newcomer at the Portuguese Golden Globes. Meanwhile, Henry Golding continues to churn out memorable performances follows his roles in Crazy Rich Asians and Snake Eyes. Up next, Golding stars in the drama Persuasion, opposite Dakota Johnson.
