Giancarlo Esposito To Star In Netflix’s Heist Drama Series ‘Jigsaw’

Arguably, one of the greatest living actors of the modern era is Giancarlo Esposito. Thanks to memorable roles in films like Do The Right Thing and TV shows like Better Call Saul, Esposito has risen to the top of many movie fans’ top ten lists. Up next, the actor is set to lead the case of a new drama series in the works at Netflix, according to Deadline.
The series, titled Jigsaw, pulls inspiration from real-life drama. During Hurricane Sandy in 2012, $70 billion in bonds went missing in downtown Manhattan. Per the initial report, Jigsaw will tell that story in a “nonlinear approach […] in a way where viewers are in control.” The series has already begun production in Netflix’s new production studio in Brooklyn.

Fred Berger (Distant), Jordan Sheehan (Diplomacy), and Justin Levy (Snowy) are on board to produce as well.
