Following a disastrous 2018 reboot; 20th Century Films (Disney) have gone forward with another reboot from a proven entity: Taika Waititi. The new film coming in 2023!
In a brilliant twist, the new film will have Chris Hansen (Dateline) star as himself all while being hunted by the Predator. Waititi is expected to provide the motion-capture for the creature along with writing and directing duties. Unlike the 2018 film; this film will lean further into the comedy and away from most horror/action set pieces that made the original so iconic.

The film will be co-produced by Michael Bay, who is currently working on the upcoming Alien reboot. It’s unknown if these franchises will once again cross paths but anything is possible!
