‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ Sequel Set At Illumination; Title and Cast Announced
Sophie and Howl are about to set sail again, this time at a new animation company. Howl’s Stationary Mobile Home coming to theaters in 2023!
For nearly two decades it was thought that Howl’s Moving Castle wouldn’t be touched with a sequel; but the folks behind the unnecessary sequels Minions: The Rise of Gru and Sing 2 are about to prove us wrong. From the beloved Illumination comes the long awaited sequel to “Howl’s Moving Castle.” After Sophie left him for the Prince and took the moving castle howl is forced to downsize and moves into a mobile home outside of Ingary. How will Howl adapt to his new setting and his new bachelor life style?

Along with the title, Howl’s Stationary Mobile Home, it was announced the entire cast would be returning except for Christian Bale. In his place, Alec Baldwin will takeover as “Howl” in the sequel. Baldwin has a previous contract with Illumination that they’ve yet to fulfill on their end. Until now that is!
Let’s be grateful only making a sequel to this Japanese film with instead of them making a film from some Japanese game about an Italian plumber.
