Daniel Radcliffe Joins Sandra Bullock & Channing Tatum In ‘The Lost City Of D’

Daniel Radcliffe remains an actor with one of the most diverse careers since his days as the Boy Who Lived. Recently, his indie films have been critical and commercial darlings with his dramatic and comedic flair usually shining. As first reported by Deadline, Radcliffe’s next role will be in Paramount’s upcoming rom-com The Lost City of D.
Radcliffe joins Oscar winner Sandra Bullock and multihyphenate, Channing Tatum, in the film. While details Radcliffe will step into a villainous role in the film.
Described as a Romancing The Stone-style feature, The Lost City of D follows a reclusive novelist, played by Bullock. As she embarks on a book tour with her cover model, portrayed by Tatum, the duo fall victim to a kidnapping attempt. The sudden twist of fate takes them on an adventure through a cutthroat jungle, as she sees that life can be far more romantic than anything she can ever write.

Aaron and Adam Nee (Band of Robbers) will direct The Lost City of D with a script by Dana Fox (The Wedding Date). The idea for the film hails from Seth Gordon (Baywatch), who will also serve as one of the movie’s producers. Moreover, Bullock will executive produce via her Fortis Films banner alongside Liza Chasin (Les Misérables).
Since his days as the fastest-rising star in the world thanks to the billion-dollar Harry Potter franchise, Radcliffe has turned in a bevy of memorial roles. Additionally, the actor’s credits include starring roles in Now You See Me 2, Swiss Army Man, and Playmobil: The Movie. Additionally, the actors often branches out to stage acting with roles in hit West End and Broadway productions Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
