With just a few more episodes left in Marvel’s first Disney+ series, WandaVision, all eyes are on the next MCU outing. While various leaks and rumors have come out regarding The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, still very little is known about what will actually occur in the series. “That’s some of the fun of the MCU, that we all get to show up in each other’s stories, and there are ways that we’re cross-platforming these characters, and they become storylines, sometimes, in the movies. And then these storylines in the movies become storylines in the shows,” Cheadle told BroBible. “It’s really a fun and interesting and, by all imagination, completely open-ended — this can go anywhere. It’s great, I can’t wait to get in the room with the writers and figure out how all those things connecting Armor Wars to the MCU happen. You know, Rhodey shows up in Winter Soldier and Falcon’s show. So, it can be a lot.”

The exciting addition of Cheadle to the cast comes off the heels of the announcement that the actor will lead his own Disney+ series titled Armor Wars. While little is known about Armor Wars, Full Circle previously, reported that both Riri Williams and Justin Hammer will appear in the show, portrayed by Dominique Thorne and Sam Rockwell, respectively.
The series will see the return of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in their respective MCU roles. It will expand upon the final moments in Avengers: Endgame, where Steve Rogers hands his shield to The Falcon. Additionally, Bucky Barnes will likely team up with Falcon moving forward since his longest friend is now an old man. The series will also bring about the debut of classic Captain America side-characters Battlestar and U.S. Agent. Moreover, set photos from the production have leaked online and painted a picture of what fans can expect from the series.
