Fans may be seeing their favorite star-spangled heroine sooner than they thought. According to Lance Ausfresser of the Stargirl Facebook Group, season 2 is tentatively scheduled for release on April 1, 2021.

Ausfresser revealed that the new season of Stargirl will air its first episode on April 1. However, he added that this is a tentative release date and could change.

An April release date would make sense given season 1 released May 18, 2020. Given production on season 2 started soon after the first season wrapped, it would be plausible for the new season to air earlier.

Season two is shaping up to top its initial outing. Previously, it was revealed that Ysa Penarejowill portray the DC hero Jade and that Doctor Mid-Nite will have a more prominent role in season two.
