Olivia Wilde will direct the upcoming feature from New Line Cinema. Moreover, Wilde will appear in the film as well. With a script co-written by Wilde and Katie Silberman (Booksmart), the film will be set in an isolated community in 1950s California. While details remain scarce, the plot will center around a housewife, played by Florence Pugh, as she discovers unsettling truths about the life she thought she lived.
Gemma Chan is a star on the rise. Following a show-stealing turn in the 2018 hit Crazy Rich Asians, Chen appeared as Minn-Erva in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel. However, Chan will set a new precedent as she appears in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe as another character, Sersi, in their highly anticipated Eternals. Moreover, Chen will star alongside the legendary Meryl Streep in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming comedy titled Let Them All Talk. KiKi Layne, on the other hand, continues to bolster her young career as well. The actress received critical acclaim for her breakout role in Barry Jenkins‘ If Beale Street Could Talk. Additionally, Layne got to flex her action capabilities in Netflix’s recent release The Old Guard. Next, she will star in Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America.
