Amidst the worldwide CO-VID 19 pandemic, productions for a bevy of Marvel Studios projects have been halted. Additionally, the actor serves as a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Moreover, Chieng co-wrote and starred in the pilot of a sitcom called Ronny Chieng: International Student and released his own Netflix stand-up special titled Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroys America!
The initial report does not specify which role Chieng will play. However, he joins the impressive ensemble including Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh.
Shang Chi will serve as one of Marvel’s most ambitious projects. With filming taking place largely on location, the film will reportedly feature the likes of Fin Fang Foom and various MI-6 comic characters.
