‘Doom Patrol’: ‘Glee’ Star Samantha Ware Joins Season 2 As Crazy Jane Personality
The highly anticipated second season of DC Universe’s Doom Patrol continues to bolster its ensemble cast. As first reported by ComicBook.com, Samantha Ware will board the series during season two in an unexpected way.
The multi-faceted Ware will reportedly portray one of Crazy Jane’s multiple personalities. Jane, played by Diane Guerrero, lives with a variation of Dissociative identity disorder, many of which feature special abilities. However, Guerrero typically played all of these personalities as different versions of Crazy Jane. That is, until season 1, episode 9 titled “Jane Patrol”. Throughout the events of this episode, A catatonic Jane is confronted by her many other personalities, played by a bevy of actresses, in the Underground. Ware is set for a recurring role in season 2 as a brand new personality.

Ware rose to fame after playing Jane Hayward in the final season of Glee. Additionally, the actress appears in episodes of Barry and Chicago Med as well. Moreover, Ware starred as Peggy Schuyler/Marie Reynolds in Hamilton: An American Musical during its Chicago run.
Recently, it was revealed that season two of Doom Patrol will stream on both DC Universe and Warner Bros’ HBO Max platform. The first season was a critical and commercial success, even coming in at number 5 on Full Circle’s Top 10 TV Shows Of 2019. Additionally, Ware joins the host of new characters coming to season 2 including Doctor Tyme, Roni Evers, and Red Jack.
