Since production began on DC Universe’s Doom Patrol season 2, there has been a lack of news regarding the series. Thankfully, it seems that may be changing as some new casting was revealed. According to IMDb, Roger Floyd will portray Red Jack in Season 2 of the DC Universe series.
Typically IMDb is not the most reliable source for casting, but this may be an exception because the actor himself has reacted to the report and confirmed his casting in a recent post on Twitter.

Created by Grant Morrison, Red Jack first appeared in Doom Patrol #22 in 1989. The team encountered the villain after he kidnapped a comatose Rhea Jones, aka Lodestone, to be his bride. After tracking Red Jack back to his home, the Doom Patrol was easily defeated at his hands until Rhea awoke from her coma to stab him in the back.

The casting report revealed that Floyd will appear in the third episode of the upcoming Season 2. It’s unclear know how the villain will fit into the show given Rhea is not a member of this iteration of the Doom Patrol. Perhaps we could see an altered version of that storyline wherein Red Jack kidnaps ether Crazy Jane or Rita.
