‘The Morning Show’ Star Gugu Mbatha-Raw Joins The Cast of ‘Loki’

During this year’s Super Bowl, Disney+ dropped a surprise trailer for their upcoming Marvel shows. It debuted the first looks at Falcon & The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and surprisingly, Loki. The latter is slated for a 2021 release and the most mysterious of the three projects. As first reported by Deadline, Gugu Mbatha-Raw has joined the series in an unknown role.

This will come in handy as she stars opposite Tom Hiddleston, who is also known for his ability to steal any scene he is in. Additionally, the actress can be seen in Doctor Who, Black Mirror, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
