Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson Joins ‘Thor 4’ Writing Team

Thor: Love and Thunder is one of the most anticipated films on the upcoming MCU slate. The followup to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok has fans interested in what is next for The God of Thunder following events of Avengers: Endgame. Fresh off his groundbreaking win at the 92nd Academy Awards, Variety reports that director Taika Waititi has recruited Jennifer Kaytin Robinson for the film’s writing staff.
Robinson burst onto the scene with 2019’s Netflix comedy Someone Great. The filmmaker wrote, directed, and produced the film. Additionally, the film earned an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes and favorable reviews from fans and critics alike. Furthermore, Robinson created the MTV series Sweet/Vicious.

The fourth film in the Thor franchise will begin production later this year. It is confirmed to see the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Waititi confirms the actress will also take on the mantle of Thor during the film. Chris Hemsworth will also return as the Son of Odin. Additionally, reports that Ford v. Ferrari star Christian Bale will play an intergalactic villain in the film.
The Loki Disney+ series will release sometime between now and the film’s release. However, it is unknown whether or not the series will connect with Thor: Love and Thunder.
