Emma Corrin Joins The Cast Of ‘Deadpool 3’ In Villainous Role

One of the most anticipated yet mysterious films within Marvel’s upcoming slate of films is Deadpool 3. Following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox a few years ago, fans of the genre have been clamoring to see what the MCU does with the Merc with the Mouth. As first reported by Deadline, the film is making significant strides with Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin joining the cast of the upcoming feature.
Corrin joins Ryan Reynolds, who will portray the titular hero for a third time. Additionally, X-Men star Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine, marking the actor’s historic debut in the MCU. Owen Wilson is also expected to reprise his role of Morbius from Loki in the film as well. Details surrounding Corrin’s character are limited at this time. However, per the initial report, they will step into the role of the film’s main villain.

Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) will direct Deadpool 3 with a script by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese (Deadpool 2). Reynolds and Levy will serve as the film’s executive producers of the feature alongside Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.
Emma Corrin portrayed Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown. After receiving critical praise for the role, they won a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award. The multitalented actor also touts a memorable performance alongside Harry Styles in the romantic drama My Policeman. Up next, Corrin will star in FX’s upcoming limited series Retreat.
