The film already boasts a stacked cast, including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andrew Garfield, and Kirsten Dunst. Spider-Man 3 has been assembling stars from the previous two franchises, so it makes sense the studio would try to recruit Dafoe and DeHaan. The former was one of the most beloved villains of the original franchise starring as the Green Goblin himself Norman Osborn. While DeHaan provided his own take on Harry Osborn’s Hobgoblin, ultimately leading to the death of Stone’s Gwen Stacy.
For now, official word has been given on this potential casting as the actors are still just In talks. As filming continues, it seems likely the studio and actors will officially announce the new additions to the cast.
