Chad Stahelski To Direct Michael B. Jordan’s ‘Rainbow Six’

With all the major franchise films that have come out in recent years, it might have been forgotten that Michael B. Jordan starred in an adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. in 2021. Now, it appears the ball is rolling for the film’s sequel. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Chad Stahelski has signed the dotted line to direct the upcoming film Rainbow Six.
Without Remorse was released in 2021 on Amazon Prime Video due to the theaters being closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Paramount Pictures is looking to pivot and release Rainbow Six theatrically. However, that could change between now and the day the cameras begin rolling.

Chad Stahelski will direct the feature with Jordan starring and producing via his Outlier Society production banner. Jordan’s frequent collaborator Elizabeth Raposo will also produce the film alongside Akiva Goldsman (Batman Forever) and Greg Lessans (Meet Cute).
Stahelski is best known for his contributions to the widely popular John Wick movie franchise. Up next, the filmmaker will return to that world for John Wick: Chapter 4 and the upcoming spinoff Ballerina. Meanwhile, Michael B. Jordan recently turned heads by briefly reprising his role as Killmonger in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Up next, Jordan will star in and make his directorial debut with Creed III.
