Sasheer Zamata & Eric André Join The Cast Of ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’

The future of the MCU promises a slew of projects ranging from film to the Disney+ streaming service. Next, Marvel Studios will begin production on the WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. As first reported by Deadline, the cast for the show continues to grow with the addition of Saturday Night Live alum Sasheer Zamata and fellow comedian Eric André.
Zamata and André join the previously cast Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and Heartstopper star Joe Locke in the evergrowing cast. Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision with Emma Caulfield Ford reprising her MCU role in the series as well. Moreover, Ali Ahn (Raising Dion) and Maria Dizzia (Orange Is the New Black) will reportedly portray witches in the series.

Jac Schaefer, who served as head writer and executive producer on WandaVision, will return to those roles for Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Sasheer Zamata is known for her work as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2014 to 2017. Since departing the sketch series, Zamata has shined in leading roles in hit TV shows like Hulu’s Woke and ABC’s Home Economics. Up next, Zamata will lend her voice to Marvel’s upcoming animated series for Disney Channel Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Meanwhile, Eric André is the creator, host, and co-writer of the Adult Swim comedy series The Eric Andre Show. The actor also voiced Azizi in the 2019 remake of The Lion King. Next, André will co-host ABC’s upcoming prank reality series The Prank Panel.
