Aubrey Plaza Joins The Cast Of ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’

One of the upcoming MCU additions steamrolling its way to Disney+ is the WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos. As first reported by Variety, it appears the cast for the series continues to grow with the addition of Aubrey Plaza.
Plaza joins Kathryn Hahn, who will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision and Heartstopper star Joe Locke, who joined the series this week. Emma Caulfield Ford will also reprise the role of Dottie from WandaVision. Very little is known about the series as a whole, so it’s unclear who Plaza and Locke will be playing. However, the notion that Plaza and Hahn will reunite in the MCU after co-starring in NBC’s Parks & Recreation is a very exciting one. Jac Schaefer, who served as head writer and executive producer on WandaVision, will return to those roles for Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

This will not be Aubrey Plaza’s first foray into the world of Marvel. The actress has previously turned heads as the villain in FX’s Marvel series Legion. In addition to her role in Happiest Season, Plaza earned critical acclaim for her roles in films like Black Bear and Emily The Criminal. Up next, Plaza stars alongside Jason Statham and Hugh Grant in Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre by director Guy Ritchie.
