Chris Evans In Talks To Join Emily Blunt In Netflix’s ‘Pain Hustlers’

Following his run as Captain America in the MCU, Chris Evans has been rather selective with his next steps. With a relationship with Netflix continuing to blossom, the actor has recently entered negotiations for a new, exciting role for the streamer. As first reported by Deadline, Evans is in talks to star alongside Emily Blunt in a feature titled Pain Hustlers.
David Yates (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore) will direct the film with a script by author Wells Tower. Lawrence Grey is producing under his Grey Matter Productions with Yvonne Walcott Yates also on board to executive produce. Production is scheduled to begin in late August.

Pain Hustlers reportedly follows a high school dropout named Liza Drake (Emily Blunt). Dreaming for a better life fo her and her child, Liza accepts a job with a failing pharmaceutical start-up in Central Florida. After quickly rising in the company’s ranks, Drake is soon the center of a criminal conspiracy.
Chris Evans recently turned heads in the Apple TV+ series Defending Jacob. The highly sought-after actor touts a memorable voice role as the titular hero in Pixar’s Lightyear. Up next, Evans reteams with the Russo Brothers for Netflix’s The Gray Man. He will also team up with his Knives Out co-star Ana De Armas in Apple’s Ghosted.
