The first look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s King of Atlantis has finally been revealed. New promotional art for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has surfaced, providing the first full look at Namor.
Debuting in early 1939, Namor was created by writer-artist Bill Everett for comic book packager Funnies Inc. The character first appeared publicly in Marvel Comics #1 (Oct. 1939), which was the first comic book from Timely Comics, the 1930s–1940s predecessor of Marvel Comics. Namor is the mutant son of a human sea captain and a princess of the mythical undersea kingdom of Atlantis. He often works directly with the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Illuminati. Other times, the character has been a foil to the heroes as an advocate for his kingdom.

It has long been rumored that Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta will play the character in the film and this new art has confirmed it. But it seems Namor will not be the only Atlantean appearing in the film as previously revealed art has revealed Attuma will also debut in the movie.
The film features returning stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett. It is also set to feature the MCU debut of Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams who will take on the identity of Ironheart.
