‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Promo Art Reveals First Look At Attuma

It has long been rumored that Namor and other Atlanteans will make their debut in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Previously supposed concept art for the King of Atlantis surfaced online, but now new promotional material has been revealed offering the first look at the Atlantean villain Attuma.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1964, Attuma debuted in Fantastic Four #33. He is from a tribe of Atlanteans that were banished from Atlantis ages ago. The character has vowed to take over the underwater city and has clashed with Namor on several occasions.

Not much is currently known about the plot of the highly anticipated sequel so this new reveal brings up many questions. The story will not only deal with the loss of T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman, but it will also introduce Namor and now Attuma to the MCU.
The film features returning stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett. It is also set to feature the MCU debut of Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, who will take on the identity of Ironheart.
