‘One Piece’ Set Photo Offers First Look At Shanks’ Ship The Red Force

Recently images from the set of Netflix’s live-action One Piece revealed the first look at some iconic ships, including the Going Merry and Miss Love Duck. Now, a new photo has offered the first glimpse of Shanks’ iconic Red Force.
The ship appears to have a number of elements from the source material, including the red coloring and the Red Force’s masthead. It seems construction is still underway on the ship as the head has not been completed yet.

First published in 1997, One Piece is written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. The series is still in print today and has spawned a massive media franchise, including an anime series that first aired in 1999, a number of films, and several video games. In 2021 One Piece became the best-selling manga series in history, with 490 million copies in circulation.
The series is set to star Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibbs as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. With production currently underway, it has not been announced when the show will debut on Netflix.
