With production underway on Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece, images from the set have begun to surface. New photos have revealed a look at an updated design for the Going Merry and Miss Love Duck.
As seen in the images below, there have been some slight changes to the ships’ designs. In regards to the Going Merry, the mouth of the vessel is open as opposed to it usually being shown as closed. And as for Miss Love Duck, it seems the head of the ship will be red rather than its original white coloring.
Got a glimpse of Alvida’s ship as well as the Going Merry (in the distance) in Cape Town. Excited to see the greatness of One Piece come to life!!! 🎉👏🏻@onepiecenetflix @OnePieceAnime #ONEPIECE #onepieceliveaction #onepieceanime#ONEPIECEspoilers pic.twitter.com/n9bpD90SoW
