Leaked ‘One Piece’ Set Photos Reveal The First Look At The Marines

With production on Netflix’s live-action One Piece series underway, a number of set photos have begun to surface online. From the newest batch of images, the first look at the Marines has been revealed.
The images, which can be seen below, feature a look at the group’s uniform as well as individuals in costume. It appears that Netflix is staying relatively close to the source material as the hats still feature the word “Marine,” and they are seen wearing their ascots.

First published in 1997, One Piece is written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. The series is still in print today and has spawned a massive media franchise, including an anime series that first aired in 1999, a number of films, and several video games. In 2021 One Piece became the best-selling manga series in history, with 490 million copies in circulation.
The series is set to star Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibbs as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. With production currently underway, it has not been announced when the show will debut on Netflix.
