Hugh Grant Has Reportedly Joined The Cast Of ‘Wonka’

Yet another star has seemingly joined the cast of Timothée Chalamet’s Wonka. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Hugh Grant is set to appear as an Oompa Loompa in the film.
The original film will explore the early days of the eccentric candy maker, Willy Wonka, and depict the character like never before. Chalamet joins Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp in portraying the iconic character. Wilder was the first to star in the role in 1971’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, while Depp portrayed the character in 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Additionally, previous rumors had Warner Bros. eyeing Tom Holland, Ryan Gosling, Donald Glover, and Ezra Miller for the role, but the focus has apparently shifted to either Holland or Chalamet.
