Natasha Liu Bordizzo Cast As Sabine Wren In ‘Star Wars: Ahsoka’

Lucasfilm has finally found its live-action Sabine Wren. Deadline has reported that actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo has been cast as the character for the upcoming Star Wars: Ahsoka series.
The show, which spins off from season 2 of The Mandalorian, will see the return of Rosario Dawson as the titular character. Star Wars: Ahsoka will continue her story as she searches for Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn.

And it looks like she will not be alone in her search. With Bordizzo set to appear as Sabine Wren, the show will unite the two friends. Originally voiced by Tiya Sircaris in Star Wars: Rebels, Sabine is a young Mandalorian warrior, Imperial Academy dropout, and former bounty hunter.
Sabine was last seen during the series finale of Star Wars: Rebels. Following a climactic battle with the Empire, the young Jedi Ezra Bridger disappeared whilst saving his crew. Shortly thereafter, Wren and Ahsoka launched a search for their missing friend. When Dawson debuted as Ahsoka during season two of The Mandalorian in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn, many fans theorized this search would soon make its way to the live-action medium.
Bordizzo made her debut in Netflix’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny. She has also appeared in the streamers The Society and the 2019 film Crazy About You.
